Questions about Giving

We’ve set up this page to answer common questions people have.

Q: Is the money given to Dublin Church Plant tax deductible?

IMG_2078A: Yes. All giving is tax-deductible. All money you give goes to Christian Associates International.

Q: How much are you trying to raise?

A: We are trying to raise a total of $8,400/month in financial support. This will cover living and ministry expenses.

Q: $8,400 seems like a lot. Why that much?

A: I actually wrote about this over here.

Q: How do I give?

A: The easiest way to do this, is to head over to our online giving page. All giving is handled by Christian Associates International.

Q: There are several ways to give on the giving page. Does it make a difference which way I choose?

A: Actually, yes. It makes a big difference. Although we have provided Credit and Debit cards as options for those who choose to give that way, we do ask and encourage ministry partner to choose to give through their checking or savings account. Not only does that keep you from using credit (a good thing to do), but it allows a greater percentage of your gift to go directly to the work in Dublin.

Depending on the type of card you use, that company will keep 1.5% to 3.5% or more of your gift.

Q: What percentage of what I give goes directly to the work in Dublin?

A: Ten percent of all money given to the work in Dublin is retained by mission’s organisation, Christian Associates International to help cover essential services. Beyond that, everything supports what we are doing here.
